Mercy School in Makindye keeps orphans and children from the ghettos in class. Next: a bigger school on five acres in Zigoti Town Council, Mityana.
When a bill stands between a child and a clinic
Medical care
We take the sick to hospital and pick up the bills families in the slums cannot meet.
A table, not a spectacle
Food ministry
Families come every day asking for food. We share what we have — maize, beans, matooke — with dignity.
Spring wells and clean habits
Sanitation & water
We sensitise communities on sanitation and support protected springs and clean water points.
Hair, sewing, baking — a trade of one’s own
Skilling & enterprise
Poverty loosens when a person can make something people will pay for. We train in practical trades.
Hope for the hopeless
Guidance & counselling
We go to schools, homes, and prisons with counsel, prayer, and a listening seat.

Teenage mothers
A baby is not the end of a girl’s education. We counsel, support, and walk her back to school.

With government authority we enter prisons — to counsel, to preach, and to bring reusable sanitary pads to women.

The Mercy For Life Africa Children’s Choir sings the gospel, raises the community, and carries the work to the world.

Shoes, clothing & hygiene
We distribute clothing and reusable sanitary pads to girls in the community and to women in prison.

Beds, houses & rent
We provide beds where we can, help families keep a house, and step in on rent when the landlord is at the door.
